Just like the PETA vice president, who says NO ONE should have animals for ANY use, not even dogs for the blind.

Yet SHE uses insulin from horses, and says that’s ok b/c the animals need her to fight for them. Even tho PETA kills 99.9% of the animals it takes in.

I’m not hypocritical, and I’m not saying you have to go out of your way to save ants or other species, but you should at least have respect for them, and if i want to feel bad for what I did to this poor ant, then good for me. If you want to be an asshole about its sacrifice then shame on you is all I’m saying. It is your logic that is flawed.

That’s a good idea wish I had thought about it, but I didn’t have the tools to do that really just a microscope i just bought. Anyways being under that hot light for a long time would of probably resulted in death, not to mention it was torture. Like i said if i knew chopping its head off would of let it alive for a long time suffering, I would have thought twice about doing it. I know when I am out walking/driving that ill inevitability kill something, but thinking about them on occasion …

Well obvious you can’t regret something after your dead. That is the person that killed ‘whatever’s’ fault. Whether it knew it was dying or not, or even what death is, I’m not even sure if they feel pain, yet watching the video I can’t help but to see a ant screaming in pain, and if that’s not something to feel bad about then nothing is.

Let me rephrase: It does not even know it is alive. Kind of like how as a baby we do not even have awareness of our own existence.

So even tho you killed it, it was not thinking “oh man, I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die.”

It just walks around & picks up food & eats & dumps, all by instinct, and not by thought. You killed something with no feelings, emotions, thoughts, or self awareness. Not much different than using disinfectant soap on your hands to kill bacteria…

Your logic suggests killing a baby is equivalent to killing an ant. The point is not so much the ant being killed, but that I makes me a killer. If I do not have remorse for killing what kind of person am I? If average human being unknowingly kills many things a day, being aware of this and other things in my opinion is an accomplishment. Being able to feel for a lesser being is the same. Imagine if everyone had the same value for life.
